Hey I'm blogging again! I know its been two months since my last post but things have been crazy for us. Hopefully I will find time to blog about that. But onto one of the best times of the year - Lake Powell. This year was amazing. We were so glad that we were able to take time off of work and school to drive away to our paradise with the Martel Family. With only one day in between our trip to Cali and this, we were quite stressed. But all that went away as soon as we arrived. We sure missed this....
We had a lot of fun making awesome sandcastles...
We loved hiking around. Ray, Ethan, Papa Joe, and Barb went out running to some awesome arches and canyons. And of course we went on our annual hike to Chester's Grave.
We went to the different canyons on the boat. It was so nice just to relax, nap, sleep, or swim.
Right by our campsite, Ethan found some petroglyphs. He was pretty proud.
We also had our annual glow-in-the-dark dance-a-thon.
Mady had such a blast swimming, playing in the sand, and just being her crazy cute self. She loved collecting seashells in her bucket. She also became really good at swimming by herself. She loved it.
We enjoyed our time at the houseboat just being lazy, playing games, swimming, canoeing, and going down the slide. Even Mady went down....with a little push.
We sure had a great time and can't wait to go next year!
