Family Pictures!

How lucky am I to have such an amazing, talented friend? Anna did our pictures this year, and she did not disappoint! I LOVED how they turned out! I of course have my favorites - check them out!
I also thought I should take some pregnancy pictures, since I never really did with Mady. We didn't take many. Mostly because its just plain weird. But here are the few we did take:
Here are the rest of the pictures that are just too good not to put up:

St. George Marathon

Every year, we always go down to St. George with Ray's family to watch his Dad compete in the St. George Marathon. This year, Ray drew out and was entered into the race, as well.
He did so well! I'm so proud of him for finishing!
It was such a good experience for him to do a race with his Dad.
We had a great time going to the temple while we waited for Ray to finish his race.
I was also able to visit my bestie, KayLa and eat at one of my favorite restaurants - Bucca-di-Beppo!
Mady's favorite part of the whole trip was probably swimming in the hotel pool. She was in heaven!
Can't wait till next year. Ray won't be running, but his Dad will be!

It's October!

The leaves are falling already! I'm super sad my hot summer is coming to an end and the cold is setting in. Ray raked up some leaves for Mady to play in.

She had a lot of fun jumping and hiding in them.
For family night we took Mady bowling. She loved it so much.
I also went to IKEA for the first time. Goodness, I love that place! Its probably a good thing I don't live close. But I did get this for Mady's toyroom. I love it.
Its also that time of season for grapes. Mady wanted to help Grandma Martel. Doesn't she look adorable? Geez I have a cute kid.
A few funny and cute things happened this month. First, I went out to eat at Snow Dragon with my co-workers. And, of course, they put the saying 'in bed' after you read your fortune. I got the perfect fortune for this and just had to send it to Ray.
Another cute thing that happened was when I came back from the store. Mady starts helping me unlad everything. She picks up the juice and says, "Oh my gracious! Your bought me juice? Thanks Mom!" A few moments later she finds the mac&cheese, "You ought me macaroni and cheese?! This is so wonderful!" No idea where she gets these things, but its pretty darn hilarious!
The last thing was when I got home from work one day and my husband says, "Did you eat a really big lunch today or is this your size now?" There goes my self confidence. Note to hubbies: Don't ever say that to your pregnant wife. Not Ever!

And I'll leave you with this precious picture. I don't know what we were doing that day to have her this out of it, but it must have been a great day.

September Lovin'

September was such a fun month. We had our friends come spend a weekend with us. It was so much fun letting the kids play together and just hanging out. This is Mady, Jonas, and Gwen
We went on a nice 4-wheeler ride. It was such a blast.
We also had the best steaks ever!
Made by this hottie. This here is living proof that I let him try out a beard. He didn't like it and shaved it off...thank goodness.
Ray's parents also came to visit us. We really wanted to take them on a 4-wheeler ride, but the weather wasn't cooperating with us darn it. So we just watched movies.

I was also able to go the Women's Conference with my Mom, Leisl, and Annie. It was so amazing!

Everything that was said was just what I needed to hear. I love how that happens.

Remember how we planted 8 summer squash plants? Well my goodness, they are producing like a weed! We have so much squash, I'm having a hard time keeping up with it.

I also found this gem - I've always wanted a big tree. It was a pre-lit tree, which the lights on it didn't work. This is the reason it was so cheap. So I had to take all the lights off. It was so much harder and took longer than I thought. But it'll be worth it come Christmas!

Also, here is another update on my pregnancy! Thank goodness my in-laws have a peach orchard. Otherwise, I would be spending a fortune!
Its been hard having to wear maternity clothes. With Mady I didn't have to wear them until I was around 32 weeks along. But as long as he's healthy, I'm happy.
