Our April

April was a fun, but cold month. My parents ward decided to have a Ward Campout at Palisade lake. It was freezing cold and raining half the time. But it was fun despite that. There was great food, games, and lots of laughter. Mady loved roasting marshmallows.
Mady was also invited to one of her friends, JesseMae's, Princess Birthday Party. Mady was so excited, she woke up super early that morning to make sure she was ready for the party. Which just happened to be at 11 - so 4 hours of waiting was a little rough for her. But she got dressed all by herself. Telling everyone she was a fairy princess.
She had a lot of fun at the party. She wouldn't let me leave her side, but she had fun playing with the other girls and all the fun activities that were planned. She crashed when she got home, as did I.
During Spring Semester, Ray has been commuting down to Cedar for school. We usually only see him on the weekends and the first part of the week. I came home from work one day to find that he had made tin foil dinners and roasted dogs. He is seriously so awesome.
On Mady's 3rd birthday, my Mom gave her a costume box full of dance outfits and princess dresses. Mady has been so obsessed with the dance outfits, she changes five times a day into each leotard in her box. I can't wait to put her in dance this fall - and neither can she. Each day I put on YouTube videos that she dance too and then we stretch as well. She loves dance so much.

Our best friends Annie and Brandon just bought their first home in Saratoga Springs. They invited us up to come see their gorgeous home and visit. We had all our friends over and ate some delicious food. The kids enjoyed some Kungfo Panda while we ate and chatted.
WE also spent some time at Grandma and Grandpa Martels house. Joey and Naketa were down, which made it that more enjoyable. We hate that they are clear in Wyoming and hope the move back to Utah soon.
Ethan brought home a tightrope, that the boys enjoyed playing around on.
Conference was so wonderful this year, as it is every year. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the speakers, while working on my puzzle.
Alice is getting so big and cute! Ray, Mady, and I just can't get enough of her!
More pictures of playing outside on the farm - Mady's favorite thing to do, besides holding Alice.

Since we had the whole family together, we took some family pictures. Here are my favorites.

Mady always loves to be such a great helper. I made some gifts for my friends that were graduating college, and Mady helped paint the letters for me. She did such a great job.

I just have to throw in this picture. It cracks me up. She fell asleep in her chair while watching a movie and eating her spaghetti-o's. If only she would take naps for me in the afternoon and not an hour or two before bedtime.
Well there you have it - our April. Hope yours was just as enjoyable!
